Cancellations must be submitted in writing as soon as possible, there is a grace period of 14 days from the date a booking is made in which it may be cancelled and fully refunded.

The following refund policy applies -

If a workshop is cancelled by the Organiser, participants will be offered an alternative date or a refund of the amount paid for that workshop.

3. Health, Fitness and Safety

Outdoor workshops may involve uneven terrain, hills, coastal paths, slippery surfaces and changing weather conditions. Participants are responsible for assessing their fitness, wearing suitable clothing and footwear, and bringing any necessary medication or equipment.

Participants must inform the Organiser of any relevant health or mobility concerns that could affect safety and follow all reasonable safety instructions. The Organiser may refuse or discontinue participation where a significant safety risk cannot reasonably be addressed, in accordance with applicable law.

Participants must act responsibly, respect other people and wildlife, follow access restrictions, and never put themselves or others at unnecessary risk to obtain a photograph.

4. Liability and Insurance

Richard Doak will take reasonable care in planning and delivering workshops. However, outdoor activities carry inherent risks, including natural hazards and changing environmental conditions.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and photography equipment. The Organiser accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or expense except where legally responsible.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Participants are encouraged to arrange appropriate personal accident and equipment insurance.

5. Workshop Changes and Complaints

The Organiser may make reasonable changes to routes, locations, meeting points, schedules or activities for safety or operational reasons. Significant changes will be communicated, and any remedies required by law will be provided.

Complaints should be raised with the Organiser as soon as reasonably possible. Every effort will be made to investigate and resolve concerns fairly.

6. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the Organiser’s privacy notice. Any health information collected for safety purposes will be limited to what is reasonably necessary and handled securely.
